    According to a news story on Wired, baseball parks are upgrading their jumbotron TV sets to broadcast in HD. Their rationale? According to the Astros’ senior director of creative services (which sounds like a made-up job title to me…): “Fans are watching games on high-definition [television], so when they come out to the ballpark we want things to be in high-definition, as well…” What?     Big In Colombia! Weblogs from this site show that the vast majority of my hits are from Colombia, closely followed by Russia. I’d like to think that that’s just my biggest fanbase, but realistically it’s just spammers and hackers. I knew Russia were big in that area, but Colombia?   • Dylan – The Original Mono Recordings

    Bob Dylan – The Original Mono Recordings Is it excessive that I now have 3 versions of some of Dylan’s albums – CD, remastered CD, and now mono CD? (and a full 70 albums in total). Expensive, but worth every cent. And to give Columbia credit, they included a code to download the entire box as MP3s, to save me ripping everything (although these are best appreciated off the CD on a decent stereo).
